Hey, Reader. Fancy a tea? Maybe a coffee? A cheeky Vimto, you say? Ooh, you rebel.

Okay, so if are subscribed to my YouTube channel, I’m sure you’ve been refreshing the Videos section, either for my latest vlog, or for an Ostomonday video. Well…

The bad news is that I won’t be doing daily vlogs for a while. The reason being is that I’m finishing my job at the end of October, and I need to focus all my resources on finding a new one. I’m sure you can understand, editing and uploading daily videos takes time, and it’s time that I can’t afford to use up right now. That’s not to say that I won’t be doing them again eventually but right now, I just can’t justify it.

The good news is that you will still get the odd video here and there, but it just won’t be daily. Not for a while, anyway. Maybe once I’ve settled into a new job, I can upload regularly again. And, of course, I’ll still try and do an Ostomonday video. Oh, and I’ll still be posting on here, on my other blog, on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, so you can still get a fix of Thaila.

Oooh, speaking of Instagram, Jess has now posted the #TrulyCommitted in October picture. I am so excited. The last #TrulyCommitted challenge was back in July, and I managed half a frickin’ month before I went on holiday and totally erased all the hard work at the beginning of the month. NEVER AGAIN.

So, my goals for the month of October are:

1. Sleep at least 7 hours per night
I am terrible for this. My main problem is the existence of my iPhone. While I love it, I hate it too. It’s so tempting. Just one more game of Candy Crush. Just one more browse on eBay. Just one more tweet. Just one more IG refresh. God damn it, Thaila, put it down! So I MUST move my iPhone well away from my bedside table and get some sleep.

2. Drink at least 2 litres of water per day
My bracelet trick seems to be working, and Mare‘s superawesomefantastic gift seems to be helping me too. Should be able to stay on track with that one.

3. Eat more fruit/veg
Fruit is easy, it’s the vegetables that’s the tricky one for me. But hopefully the colder days will encourage me to have nice warm home-cooked dinners, which involve a lot of vegetables.

4. Work out at least 3 times per week
I had originally aimed for 5 times per week, but I think 3 times is just more realistic. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are the very minimum. If I want to work out Monday and Friday as well, then it’s a bonus, but weekends are definitely always going to be rest days, because that’s the only time that I see Chris, and I want to spend every possible second with him.

5. Build some lean muscle
This means paying absolutely no attention to my weight in lbs, but instead focusing soley on number of inches lost and body fat percentage.

This Saturday just gone marked ONE YEAR until we get married. That’s one year that I’ve got to really step up and get into shape for the best day of my life. Chris is the same, he wants to get in shape too, so we really need to support each other. We also need to start saving money as much as possible, so home-cooked food must replace those cheeky little takeaways, and we need to try and be more active. Not necessarily at weekends, but certainly during the week.

Well, Reader. That’s it for now. And if you hadn’t already read about how much I love sunsets, then go and read about it.
