Crohn’s & Colitis UK are currently running a campaign called #GoodAndBadDays where they share peoples’ posts on what it’s really like to live with an invisible illness like Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Sometimes you might look fine on the outside, but you feel like utter crap on the inside, whether it’s a flare-up, or during recovery from surgery, or even just feeling drained and tired.

My Own #GoodAndBadDays Story

I shared my own #GoodAndBadDays story over on Crohn’s & Colitis UK’s Facebook page – please take the time to have a read of it.

Don’t ever feel that you can’t get through the bad days, or that you are alone in what you are going through. There are thousands and thousands of people who can relate to you, and are there to help support you. And if you are having a bad day today, whether you’re feeling unwell or having a slow recovery or are generally just feeling down, remember that things CAN get better, one step at a time. Tomorrow is a new day.
