Well hello, my dear Reader. Fancy seeing you here.
Yesterday I felt a bit… ‘meh’. I couldn’t quite put my finger on why, but I knew I wasn’t 100%.
Sure enough, when I woke up this morning, my nose was blocked, my throat was sore, my glands were up and I was all achey. The common cold strikes again.
I take an immunosuppressant drug called Azathioprine to keep my Crohn’s disease under control and stop it attacking my digestive tract. While it seems to be doing the trick, it also leaves me vulnerable to infections and, in this case, a cold which seems to have circulated the office through the air conditioning system.
So here I am, sat wrapped in a blanket, dosed up on Lemsip and Strepsils, watching Tim (Simon Pegg) and Mike (Nick Frost) cheer me up.
In other news, the new iOS 7 is out. I’ve updated both my iPhone 4S and my iPad Mini – they both look rather beautiful now. I notice that the prettier your wallpaper, the prettier the icons. I like the new font, too. It reminds me of the future. That makes no sense, but I bet you know exactly what I mean. Heh.
‘Til next time, Reader,
