Well, as I write this, there are only 28 days until the wedding! I can’t believe it’s coming around so quickly!
Yesterday was the dress fitting. If you saw my video about ordering my wedding dress, you’ll remember that I saw the dress online and ordered it, without seeing it ‘in real life’. I know it’s a risky thing to do – ordering THE dress without knowing if it’ll suit me – but I just knew it’d be perfect for me, I just had that feeling.
Not only was yesterday about making sure the dress fit, but it was also seeing Heather in her dress for the first time! Heather’s dress was a bit too big, so they’re having to take in quite a bit, but she looked fantastic! And the style definitely suits her, so I’m really pleased!
Of course, it was also the first time Heather and Mum saw me in my dress, and it was the first time I saw it with my veil & shoes, so it was a great moment when I walked out in my dress. I know Chris will love it, too. Yaaay.
As much as I’d love to show you photos of all the dresses, I’m sure you’ll understand that I’d prefer not to, not until after the wedding anyway.
After the dress fitting, we went for a girly lunch at Chameleon Music Bar & Steakhouse, and the food was fantastic. We had a lovely afternoon, and it was definitely a memorable day!
Next weekend is my hen-do…. but more about that another time!
